我們在談「信仰旅行」時，許多人第一個想到的可能是以色列、羅馬這些聖經中的地點，但其實，台灣作為南島文化的重要樞紐，同樣擁有豐富的基督信仰足跡——從馬偕、馬雅各到現代的教會發展，這裡的故事值得被世界看見。

我們相信，2025年將是重要的轉捩點。這不僅是一個旅遊趨勢的改變，更是一個機會，讓世界各地的基督徒認識台灣獨特的信仰之路，親自踏上這條充滿恩典的旅程。

回想自己從大學時期開始帶領外國旅客的經驗，我見證了旅途中的深刻對話與改變，也深知「旅行」不只是腳步的移動，而是一場心靈的旅程。因此，我希望能將代禱士的精神更自然地融入旅行中，讓朝聖不只是參訪，而是一次與信仰更深連結的經歷。

於是，「方舟旅行」誕生了。

這不僅是一家旅行社，更是一座橋樑，讓每一位旅人透過文化與信仰的探索，看見神在這片土地的恩典與作為。

Hello everyone, I’m Tai, the founder of The Ark Tour.

Since I was young, I’ve had a deep interest in both history and faith.

When I began working as a tour guide, I had the opportunity to lead travelers from around the world through Taiwan, uncovering the rich stories hidden in this land.

When we talk about “faith-based travel,” most people immediately think of Israel or Rome—those classic biblical destinations.

But in truth, Taiwan, as a vital hub of Austronesian culture, holds a rich tapestry of Christian heritage.

From early missionaries like George Leslie Mackay and James Laidlaw Maxwell to the development of modern Taiwanese churches, the stories here are powerful and deserve to be seen and heard by the world.

We believe that 2025 marks a turning point—not just in travel trends, but in the opportunity to let global Christians discover Taiwan’s unique faith journey, and to walk it for themselves.

Reflecting on my own experiences since university—leading foreign travelers and witnessing the deep conversations and personal transformations along the way—I’ve come to understand that travel is never just about the physical journey. It’s a journey of the soul.

With that conviction, I began to dream of a way to integrate the spirit of intercession into our travels—so that pilgrimage would no longer be just about visiting places, but about deeply connecting with God along the way.

And so, The Ark Tour was born.
